  Taliesin in Spring Green, WI yesterday afternoon…

  The whole time reminding myself- Frank Llyod Wright was born two years after the American Civil War, and died in the atomic era at the hight of the Cold War. It is easy to forget that his home in Spring Green was built towards the end of the Victorian era!

  What an innovator. What an amazing mind. What an amazing life. Thank you Mr. Wright.

  I just moved into an old house. I’m really lucky because I have a lot of spaces to work now. This is in the basement where I draw and have a small woodworking shop. To me, a workspace is a sacred place. It needs to be a sanctuary for your mind and an alter for your art.

  The Cliff

  I finally did it this weekend.

  I got tired of wasting my time on the edge of the cliff, so I jumped. I pulled the trigger, I got off my ass, I took the plunge- I incorporated on legalzoom.com…

  But it wasn’t some willynilly Swiss Family Robinson afternoon at the swimming hole. I spent a lot of time on that cliff; knees shaking, butterfly sandwich sloshing around in my tum-tum. All the while keeping really busy. I was busy making plans, waiting for the right moment, coming up with ideas…bla…bla…bla… But that was productive, right?

  Not really, those were all just excuses. I was mostly just being self conscious.

  That was then. I have stepped over the edge. I’m in free fall, and it’s amazing.
